A musical Aladdin's Cave of gems has been courageously thrust open! Here is the latest recording of a brilliant violin concerto by Feliks Yaniewicz. In Polish spelt 'Janiewicz' but in English 'Yaniewicz'. The 'Iron Curtain' was as much a cultural barrier as a military and political one. The internet knows no such barriers to archival cultural material in our period. We live in an era of extraordinary freedom, ease and variety of access. 'Not only can he (she) play well, but she can also read music'  (Kurt Sanderling on Sviatoslav Richter) Tianyao Lyu   ( Ruch Muzyczny)  Born in China in 2008, Tianyao Lyu began her musical education at the Middle School affiliated with the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, where she studied in the class of Hua Chang. She now continues her studies at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań under  Professor Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń. Despite her young age, she is a laureate of numerous prestigious piano competitions.
